Renovations for this 1928 home in Asheville’s historic Montford neighborhood were designed to fit the active lifestyle and modern aesthetic of the owners, a young family of four. A complete kitchen overhaul includes a custom range hood, new hardwood floors, updated cabinets and hardware, and custom shelving.
To preserve the historic feel throughout the home, we restored the hardwood floors where possible, and integrated matching new flooring when necessary. What was a small downstairs bathroom is now a half bath with the separate laundry room. Upstairs, we expanded the master bedroom into a suite, complete with a bathroom and custom walk-in closet.
