Design: Carlton Edwards Architect

This family of four wanted to transform unused, awkward space in their home into functional, comfortable living areas. With that goal in mind we revamped some second-story space that had felt restricted because of odd roof angles.

Now it’s a spacious master suite with built-in bookshelves and dressers, custom doors to accommodate the off-sizes, a balcony to embrace their epic forest view, and a brand new bathroom with a custom glass shower. Next, we converted a similarly cramped downstairs space into a storage-filled mudroom/laundry room, complete with with quartz countertops and custom cabinetry. Word is they’re enjoying using 100% of their home now.
